Embroidery and Needle Craft Regular Training programmes

 (* Advanced skill programme)- 

Objective of the course - to provide trainees the skill and knowledge in embroidery techniques by hand, treadle sewing machine and automatic zigzag lock stitch machine so that they are able to seek self employment or employment in industry as skilled   worker. 

Trainee Entry level - candidates who have successfully undertaken a basic skill course (NCVT approved) in Embroidery and Needle Craft.  

Course Duration - Eight months full time course. 

Course Contents :- Course is broken down in 4 separate modules :- Machine Embroidery, Hand Embroidery, Art in Embroidery & creative Embroidery. 

Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to  

• Make use of advanced stitches & work styles; 
• Work on different automatic embroidery  machines.
• Make use of different types of threads including metallic threads & accessories;
• Develop their own designs, colour schemes and creations including designs from different states and  traditions.

The workshop is equipped with machines like treadle type sewing machine, Zig-Zag lock stitch automatic Embroidery machine, etc.
