Regional Vocational Training Institute, Kolkata

The Institute, set up in 1986,  is operating in the temporary premises provided by the State Government of West Bengal.  The Institute’s own building, quarters for the staff, and the trainees hostel are under construction, and are likely to be completed by Dec. 2002.

Course Duration  One to Two years	Eight Months
Academic Session  August to July	October to May

Eligibility varies with the courses selected

New skill training courses would be offered when the Institute shifts to own  building. 

Short-term courses are organized in:

• Computer Operation
• Data Processing
• Short-hand and Stenography
• Interior Decoration, etc.
