ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (EMEP)

Participant Level : Principals/Vice Principals, Trainers/Training Administrators/Supervisors/Foreman of Technical Training/Educational Institute and Interested private individual.
Course Objective : After undergoing the training programme the participants will be able to implement the measures to protect the environment in and around their institutes. Use the energy effectively and efficiently in running the training.
Course Content :
A. Energy Management : Sources and uses of energy in ITI/ITCs, Energy and Environment-Implications of energy induced pollution, recovery of waste heat & recycling of waste materials, Energy technologies-Cost, efficiency and availability, energy conservation.
B. Environmental Protection : Concept of environment & Ecological Balance, Importance of Maintaining Ecological Balance, Characteristics of Eco-Friendly materials, types of pollution, its sources and its effect, Remedial steps to control pollution and conservation of available natural resources, TQM.
