FOREWORD
An educated and awared person is a need for success of any democratic set up.
We have, therefore, been witnessing enormous expansion and extension of
facilities being made available to get the interested persons educated.
From the original formal approach of Govt. controlled educational institutions
in this area, we have, now, seen such institutions are being also run by private
organizations. Such facilities are,
thereafter, being made available to the learners through Correspondence/Distance
learning mode.
In this publication, however, only forty three Universities and nine Open
Universities are included but since many more such institutions are entering in
this area the readers, are, therefore, required to be always ready to seek
latest information from readily available sources.
This publication will be useful to such youths, their parents and career
counsellors who aspire to widen the scope of learning.
