Model Training Institutes attached to Advanced Training Institute Kolkata, Dasnagar, Howrah ,  presently conduct training  programme in the trades of Carpenter , Sheet Metal Worker , Computer Operator & Programming Asstt., Draughtmen(Mech.), Electrician , Fitter , Machinist(Grinder), Instrument Mecahanic , Welder (G&E) , Draughtsman (Civil), Machinist , Turner, Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker(Press Tool), Electronics Mech., Mechanic Refrigeration & Airconditioning, Mechanics(Motor Vehicle). 

The trainees of these courses after completition of the prescribed  training appear in the All India Trade Test held under the aegis of NCVT  along with trainees of  ITIs/ ITCs  held in July every year .The successful trainees are awarded National Trade Certificate .  

• Reservation of seats- Seats are reserved as per Govt. Rules.

• Age-Between 14-40 years on 01.08.2012, 45 Years for Ex-Servicemen and War Widows

• Selection-Selection shall be made on the basis of Merit.

• Training cost –Tuition fees of Rs.150/- per month for all trades except COPA, Tuition fee for COPA trade will  be charged @ Rs.300/- per month, Caution money deposit Rs.250/- (refundable) for trainees of all trades. Other Fees as applicable. Concessional fees are charged from SC/ST/PH Candidates.*All the fees mentioned above are under revision and is likely to change and will be applicable accordingly
