APEX HITECH INSTITUTE(AHI), BANGALORE

The Apex Hitech Institute(AHI), Bangalore was set up in 1993 under Hitech training scheme which is one of the schemes of Vocational Training Project implemented with the assistance from World Bank. The  institute has been conceptualised as DGET's core institute for high level demand driven training. The land for the institute has been earmarked in the campus of Foremen Training Institute (FTI), Bangalore, one of DGET's field institutes. However, Apex Hitech Institute, Bangalore is presently operating from a temporary accommodation in FTI with the limited infrastructure. 

The existing facility in the institute is utilised for conducting following short-term Hitech courses  :
